The attorney for US Army Staff Sgt. Robert Bales says the army is trying to avoid its responsibility for sending Bales to Afghanistan after he was diagnosed with PTSD. Bales is accused of killing 16 Afghans. He could face the death penalty. (Dec. 20)

    They are honorless especially at the upper levels.

    You must look for individuals to be honorable.

    Sending a troop into the fray that watched his buddies die in terrible ways, lost hist foot and begged not to be deployed. It is lacking leadership and is dishonorable.

    What can you expect the Army to do?

    The wrong thing.
