Bill Wilson Center's CEO Sparky Harlan and COO Ken Koach kick off renovations at Peacock Commons.
Peacock Commons is a 28-unit apartment complex located in Santa Clara. Bill Wilson Center purchased the property and is beginning the renovation process. The housing is intended to serve as permanent, supportive housing for up to 32 homeless or at-risk of homelessness youth. Six low-income nonprofit staff will also live on the property and act as mentors/role models for the young residents.
Residents will be transition age homeless youth, ages 18 to 25 years of age; include youth that are chronically homeless, aging out of foster care and/or victims of domestic violence.
We will be posting new videos as the renovations progress to map out the progress. Check back often and be sure to visit our website: www.billwilsoncenter.org
