Hyler - Bottle It Up (Sara Bareilles Cover)

Another song in my series of solo acoustic pop covers, the first one on my new NS32CE and using dual cameras. I started this one quite awhile ago, the chorus and even the verse came very naturally, the bridge however slowed me down for a good week or so trying to figure out an arrangement that would work for that. I ended up being fairly happy with it. In response to some messages I've been getting about my videos, I'll say that what you are seeing is a video of the bulk of the recording process, of course I'm going to add in a few seconds of overdubs on any sour or wrong notes, but none of that should total for more than 10 seconds or so cumulative (I'm not a good one-taker) in these songs. As far as the song arrangement goes, I left the Chorus pretty much as-is in terms of melody and chords, I changed the rhythm going into the verse however and even had a 4/8 measure thrown in to offset the pickup notes during the second lead in. I'm sure I changed the rhythm in the bridge (including the melodies rhythm) but that was a cluster of confusion anyways and I can't be bothered to figure out everything I changed as I pretty much had to come up with it from scratch, I'll just say it's very different. Also, I augmented the harmonic rhythm at the end of the verses staying on the Am and E7 for two measures each instead of the original four chord pattern. Overall, I'll just say it was a fun arrangement to do =)

Audio was recorded at 24bit 192hz into Cubase 5 and video at 1080p into Vegas 10 HD.
