Im using an tube pedal to replicate the old vintage vibrato and a Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal. I think the gain was on about 4 or 5 on my amp.

sure it wasn't perfect, but i attribute that more to lack of that ideal distortion and pickup tone.

i use a tone down middle pickup and Russian Big Muff for this song.

there's an article where Frusciante explains most of the effects and tones he uses on all the tracks, i can send it to you if you like.

if you do the whole album, would you attempt Turn it Again? i'm excited.
