ToS Cameo Battle Falcon's Crest (No effects)

I was really bored... so I fought the cameo characters again and wondered what would happen if I used something like Falcon's Crest right before Meredy uses the Hourglass... this is what happens!

(This was done on Mania Mode)

How to do: To make it easier, defeat Farah and Garr first. Then get Lloyd's HP down to at least 1600 [If your max HP is 9999] or under 15% - equipping the Demon's Seal is faster. Then go after Meredy. When Meredy's HP reaches about 16000, she starts to cast Indignation. Usually right after that, she uses an Hourglass - make sure you're ready to use Falcon's Crest right after she's done with Indignation (like, have buttons A and B held, and then press X when she moves her hand - you don't have to do it like this, just make sure you activate it right when she's moving her hand). I actually messed up when I recorded this - that's why you hear that error sound right when I get out of the menu, but the timing was so precise - I was lucky to pull it off like this.

Sorry about the quality - I didn't have anything that lets me directly record to my computer at the time --- look at my other video for a better picture.

*If you have ToS for the PS2, it'd be great if you made videos like this with other characters (like Zelos using Shining Bind or Presea using Hien Messhoujin). Post it as a video response to this one. I'm just curious to see how it would look like with other characters.*

is it possible to fight the cameo battle more than once (in normal mode)???

Once you win the battle in any mode, that's the only time you get to fight them. Of course if you lose, you can fight them again and again, as long as you don't win or save after you win. For me, I just make a separate save file for whenever I want to fight them. Same goes for any other particular battle (Seles, Kuchinawa, etc.)

Oh so you have to keep the A & B buttons pressed down before you press X? I see...

thanks! and uh, you don't HAVE to hold down A & B before you press X - a lot of people have their own way of doing it - it's just easier for me to pull it off that way.

easiest way to do it is use Rising Falcon, and while your in the air, hold A + X + B, so when you get to the bottom, you activate it.
