Be careful to try and get one that's good on fuel, some models need you to practically have your own oil well.

Where it belongs? This is an industrial Olympus, and it belongs in a power station generating power.
As for creating industrial engines from aircraft jet designs.... the answer is large and many-faceted, but basically these engines have tremendous power output for their size, and can reliably run at full power for years without needing anything but checking the oil level.
Those are two huge advantages over piston engines.
One disadvantage is they are expensive.
Ask the manufacturers...

So you test these engine's for your job? Pretty awesome! Your videos are very interesting

e-bay. Small turbines come up for sale often. A JFS-100 for sale right now.......

do you have some small jet from a APU meyby for sale?

What do you use all these engines for their?
Ice FOD? hope it has a good Anti-Ice valve

@jamestexas244 No anti-icing used by this engine. It isn't even hooked up.
Icing occurs in humid air at a temp that falls below freezing at the inlet due to air pressure reduction by the compressor. This test was at -20C, so paradoxically the air is so cold ( and dry), that ice does not form in the intake.

This engine is an industrial Olympus. It will be used to run an electrical generator to feed a power grid.
Our other tests are usually engines used for power generation or for running compressors in natural gas pipelines which pump the gas from northern Canada to the US.
We do test the odd flight engine.
