Alice Pack Frame Refurbish Part 1 CJL Enterprize

This is the first in a number of videos going over refurbishing an Alice Pack. This frame has a popped rivet on the top bar. We drill out the rivet in order to put another one in. The only way to get the rivet out is to drill it. This is the first step we go through in refurbishing a Aiice pack frame. You can do this also.

I have had the same problem. I used a hack saw and it worked. I had to saw off the top part of rivet on some and or the bottom of the rivet. Then it popped out. Hope that helps.

I've tried and tried, but unsuccessfully at removing the top rivet by drilling it out. Do you have any suggestions?
