This is the music I grew up with. I feel sorry for the young people today with all they have to listen to. No one master instruments and voice anymore

i'd love to know where you got this 45 r.p.m. record of 'cafe regio' by isaac hayes, because:
* at the time, {when the movie, "shaft" was popular} it was on the label of "enterprise', not stax records
* it has to be a rare, & collectable label, seeing that stax, is no longer operating, nor is the label of enterprise, & when it was released, {here in the u.s.a.} it wasn't even in stereo, like the copy that you have...
But I guess you won't tell me.. oh well....

Hey iGuy-great song, thanks for posting the video-lesser known from the Shaft album by Isaac Hayes. I always associate this with Bourgie Bourgie, another great soul instrumental by Ashford & Simpson-do you have that one?

Yes I do know that one and it's a good tune, this ones a little bit more laid back though, both good. I am a big fan of instrumentals check out "Inside America" by Juggy Jones on my channel another great track Best wishes Guy
