Okay, so I followed all of your directions in all these HandyStitch videos EXACTLY, but it has yet to work for me. The needle just punches through the fabric really quickly and the thread refuses to go through. I thought it was the fabric, but all 3 types I tried just got poked full of holes. I've used sewing machines before, and I've never had this problem. I'm not sure if it's just me, or if there's a defect with the machine, but I have a costume competition in 4 days. Help, please!
