At the 2009 Sundance Film Festival we spoke with director Duncan Jones and actor Sam Rockwell about their new film MOON. The director and start talked about their reverence for classic sci-fi movies, the logistical difficulties of making a one-actor film, and how memory and identity and the pscyhology of loneliness are crucial themes they set out to explore in MOON.

  • Excellent movie. Excellent people.

  • two genius

  • Awesome film. I saw it once a year ago, and I still think about it all the time.

  • My favourtie Sam's movie... Love you Sam !

  • @AmyK007 If people decided on Oscars, Twilight would end up winning every award. It is a somewhat fair system.

  • I've discovered this movie by accident, and I couldn't believe how underated this movie was, that deep psychology and tension keept me under shock for a while after whatching it ... Sam was brilliant ...

  • Duncan looks great, not skinny like his dad

  • I heard that "Source Code " by Duncan Jones is too a really good movie im looking forward to this guy no movie had ever brought tears in my eyes like " Moon "

  • Hollywood doesn't like films that goes against the grain. If this film did some advertising today in Europe, it will do very good. The atmosphere, the acting, the music and story is a perfect balance. However, it's still a film that you only can watch once, and you kinda feel happy when it's over, because it was quite sad really :|.

  • @goldenmarin Hell yeah man, easily one of the greatest films I have ever seen. Blew me away, and the soundtrack was epic.
