Short report by a Dutch news reel about the first performance in Holland of 'Catalunya Renaixent' by Karel Mengelberg - a nephew of the famous conductor -, written for the Banda Municipal of Barcelona in 1934, at the Holland Festival of 1991, played by the Amsterdam Wind Collective conducted by Jean Gruter.
The audio-version of the work itself I hope to upload soon.

Interesting feature of this score is that it uses 3 'xirimia' (chirimia), traditional Catalonian shawms.

PS Sorry for the at times shaky image and the - inevitable!- VHS-tracking rumble at the beginning.
