  • this song (and the horse race scene in general) is totally my favorite in the musical. the lyrics are clever, the costumes are beautiful, and the staging (for lack of better word) is hysterical. I love how they are singing about how 'absolutely thrilling' it is and how their pulses are 'rushing' and then LOOK at them. sooo good.

  • The female costumes are amazingly beautiful! I am really in awe of the talent of Cecil Beaton for designing these costumes.

  • I love how they look through the binoculors when the horses are nearest to them haha

  • Splendid, good begining, good end !
