This is another movie from the archives of my late uncle Louis Cormier. This is great 8mm colour footage of what is likely the Dominion Day Parade on St. George Street in Moncton taken between 1965-67 -- not exactly sure which year. I originally thought this was the Shediac Lobster Festival, but apparently this is St. George Street in Moncton -- so I deduced that it was the Dominion Day Parade and that the Shediac Lobster Festival had a heavy presence because they were promoting it. (Any further information would be appreciated if any viewers are aware of anything else.)

  • The view would have been on corner by Lutz in front of cathedral! You can see where an old fire station was, now youth quest!

  • This was in front of where Moncton fish market is on St. George st!
