i saw nathan at the magic castle the past weekend, it wasnt my first time seeing him but he gets so much better every time and when i saw him last weekend he blew my mind!! he is amazinggg!!! in the close up gallery i sat right in front of him and he would change a card into another card right in front of my eyess!!!

What's with all the anger? You are way off base about Nathan. He is the real deal. He is very talented, and his handling is impeccable, especially with cards. He's won numerous first place awards for his work.

It's called a close-up mat, and no, you did not ruin it at all. Slits in the mat would be ridiculous... yeesh, laypeople. Can't appreciate what we magi go through.
