Teaser trailer for the announcement of the RED Scarlet X. Totally epic. This was posted to RED's cachefly space. Have you previewed all the earlier footage of Ted running around with a Scarlet fixed for "around 6K". Shoots 120 fps 3K. I think Colin Powell couldn't have done any better.

@particlelight It has worse image quality at higher frame rates. But otherwise i agree with you. Shooting at 25fps is equally good.

@ssuuppeerrbbooyy So your complaint about Scarlet has got nothing to do with image quality.

@particlelight Its the same sensor but what bothers me the most about scarlet is 120 fps at only 1K. Red one has 2K @ 120fps.

@ssuuppeerrbbooyy The image quality is essentially the same. Both cameras have the chip. Why would the image quality be so much different?
