Revolutionary Girl Utena - the abridged promo

This is a promo video I made for Rainmarsfox's upcoming parody series, Revolutionary Girl Utena Abridged.

Originally, she put up her first promo within hours of WhipofAlchemy putting up hers months back. Weird, right? Since Sailor Moon Abridged - and thus whipofalchemy - had a large fanbase, Rainmarsfox was deterred from releasing a competing series. She finally got her courage back (as well as the cast's lines) and hopes to release the first episode this friday.

We say that its a group project of Sailor Moon Universe staff, but its really Rainmarsfox's baby. ^_^

Cool sounds interesting, hopefully you'll update more than whipofalchemys which in my honest opinion wasnt that great.

when it comes time to poke fun at the final saga and the final six episodes where everything comes full circle and the true beauty of the anime really comes forward.

I thought, with all these factors, no one will touch this before I can make a decent start. Obviously it backfired on me because someone thought the same thing as me and was like "oh I'm going to do it." And it just happened to be SMA's team. No hate against them, just a really weird coincidence.

Mm, yeah. That's what I was thinking about when I was considering doing this and proposing it to everyone else who is now on the project.

I only discovered Utena maybe a year ago, and aside from that, only maybe a handful of people I know have heard of it let alone watched it.

The feeling I got from watching was that this is such a DEEP COMPLEX anime it'd be hard to poke fun at (aside from the blatantly obvious things). Seriously, my feeling is that I'm going to be screwed
