The focus should be on science and research, and not on teaching creationism to kids.
The focus shouldn't be on who can marry who, who cares.
The focus shouldn't be on waging holy wars around the world because my god has a bigger one than your god.
The focus shouldn't be on saving bankrupt companies with taxpayer money because my god wants me to be rich and he wants the rest of you to suffer.
