Joe: *walks out of Demi's room and down the stairs to Kevin* Sorry I hit you.
Kevin: No problem. So?
Joe: She doesn't love me back.
Kevin: What?! That's crazy!
Joe: And she SHOULDN'T. She has a boyfriend.
Kevin: Love is love. You can't fight it.
Joe: I can if I fell in love with the wrong person.
Kevin: It's meant to be this way?
Joe: Sadly. *walks out of the house*
Kevin: *walks upstairs and knocks on Demi's door* Demi, can I come in?
Demi: Yeah.
Kevin: *opens the door and walks in* Hey. Are you okay?
Demi: *smiles* Yeah. Joe and I worked everything out.
Kevin: *Apparently not.
*Demi tilts her head*
Kevin: Why don't you love Joe?
Demi: Excuse me?
Kevin: He said you didn't love him back. Why not?
Demi: I never said that I didn't love him back.
Kevin: He thinks you did.
Demi: Well, where is he? *stands up*
Kevin: I think he went home.
*Demi walks out of the room*
*15 MINUTES LATER*
Joe: *laying face up on his bed looking at the fan. He hears a knock on his door* Yeah.
Denise: *walks in* Nicholas told me what happened.
Joe: Jerk. *turns over to face her*
Denise: What was the reason? *sitting on the edge of his bed*
Joe: What did he tell you?
Denise: You nearly killed hit Demi, you punched Kevin when he punched you. You yelled at everybody. The list is endless.
Joe: I yelled because everybody was mad at me. I hit Kevin because, well, he started it. And I-.
Denise: *waits for Joe to finish but he never does* And Demi? What was that about?
Joe: Because, I love her. and she doesn't love me. She never has.
Denise: What?
Joe: Yeah.
Denise: You almost hit her because you love her?
Joe: It's complicated.
Denise: You said that she never love you.
Joe: And that's true. At least not the way I love her.
Denise: *stands up* I wouldn't be to sure. *opens the door*
Demi: *walks in* We need to have a talk.
