@blueeyedsocalguy although what you say is definitely true, there is no point posting it on Youtube. That is just trying to stir up emotion. Yes it is sad he chose not to serve a mission. The lives he could have touched no one will ever know, but don't bash him or anyone else who chooses against it in a public area like this.

@blueeyedsocalguy your an idiot, I was all state in basketball and tried to serve a mission... I had to come home because I had intense anxiety, depression problems and it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to survive another day out there or I probably would have killed myself... Your so close minded, and YOU are the reason the church has a bad name with ALOT of people, and why alot of good young adults like me are pushed away from the church. (i am active). FOCUS ON YOUR OWN FLAWS oh wait your perfect.

While I believe the mission is fantastic--Jimmer didn't go on a mission and look at the pub he is bringing to the church and BYU.

@blueeyedsocalguy I just think a lot more damage is done to the Church by people who think a personal decision like that is their business. How many YSAs that don't serve missions don't feel welcomed at church? That's wrong. It's not your call to make.
