The Plains of Boyle was recorded by Paddy Killoran and James Morrison in 1929, and sits squarely on the Top10 list of most frequently recorded hornpipes, as well as being commonly recognized at sessions all over. All this, and it's a decent tune, too. Let no one say that I neglect the classics.
This is the 33rd near-weekly installment in my Hornpipes-only home recording project. Thanks for listening.
