Federal Bailout of the States -- Jonathan Williams of ALEC on FOX Business News

Jonathan Williams, Director of the American Legislative Exchange Councils Tax and Fiscal Policy Task Force was featured January 27, 2009 in USA Today and on Fox Business News discussing the $200 billion in President Obamas stimulus package that is earmarked to bailout state budgets. ALEC is the only national organization of state government officials that has come out against any federal bailout of the states. States should learn to live within their means, not be rewarded for reckless fiscal policies. As Mr. Williams said in USA Today, "This bailout is like giving booze to alcoholics."
