Web Of Trust Review (WOT)

Hey guys, today I show you a video about the WOT addon for Firefox, Internet Explorer 8 and 9, and all the top browsers of today. WOT uses ratings from a online community, (call it a cloud community if you wish) whereby everybody who downloads the addon and then makes a rating on whether or not a website is good or bad gets added to the database, and all the opinions from all over the globe of course will add up to a pretty good answer about whether you should trust a website or not. It's good for online banking, extra protection from malware, and internet filtering (sort of). WOT is a good tool to use, and in my opinion you shouldn't be without it. It is so secure I would of run nthe tests on my own computer, I just merely wanted to show you the install procedure. Enjoy a safer web! Thanks for watching.

@cheater87 in firefox you can block sites with bad ratings, so they wont load. checkit up in the wot settings.

When set to warn you can still get infected since the site still loads.

This is a great video about WOT! The AVG link in Google results seems to be a sponsored link: Sponsored links often go through third-party tracking services, which record your click and then redirect you to the advertised website. Sometimes these third-party tracking services have an unsatisfactory reputation rating if the service is abused by spammers, for example. AVG's site itself has a good reputation.
