Continental Airlines Fire outside Aircraft 737-200 Boeing

This was taken on a Continental Airlines Boeing 737-200. Simulation of what fire outside of the cabin might look like. This particular aircraft had an emergency landing in Guatemala in 1999 and it now used by Continental Airlines for flight Training Center. It was very informative and I hope I never have to experience this in real life. I want to give many thanks to the wonderful Continental employees whom did an awesome job showing us around.

@usstaralliance Continental invited some of their top customers (500 in all and their guest) to a weekend event in Houston via Flyertalk and this was on of the tours called In Flight Operations. Continental is a great airline, they ask us questions and advice and listen to us. None of the other airlines do this for their top customers.

I found this somewhat interesting and never knew before they could simulate a fire condition outside the aircraft. I now feel a bit safer knowing they train in this manner.
