Medical Marijuana Advisor shows you how to make a simple Deep Water Culture Hydroponic System for $20.00. If you are just getting started with hydroponics this is one of the simplest and cheapest ways to do it. You can literally build this system in less than 5 min. • Excellent Video!!!! im gonna go with a deep culture for 3 plants feminized seeds do you have any suggestions for lighting ?thnx in advance

  • @bamakush Depending on the strain you choose I would run at least one 600watt light. I use 1 600 watt hps for flower on each 5gal DWC. With Advanced Nutrients I usually get half to a full dried pound of medical marijuana from each 5gal DWC.

  • is the air pump on 24/7 or on a timer?

  • @hiphopzannouncer Air pump is on 24/7 .. water and nutrients being used are changed out every 7-10 days.

  • hey man I want to go hydroponic with my plants but I cant pick what type of system I want or should get

  • @wyattb995 Ebb and Flow is pretty cheap and the easiest system I have come across myself so far if you are planning on growing several plants. Check out my Ebb and Flow video, that should get you started. If you are only growing one or two plants you can go with the deep water culture. Check out my 4 week update I just posted.

  • @microroots black buckets get pretty hot, also not good for roots

  • @ravin4550 this guy has way too much water in there. Only fill the water up half way. There is enough moisture in that bucket from the air pump that the roots grow great and get down in that water in no time. You want half the roots dry and half in the water when they get down there!

  • 1-2 goldfish will do.

  • put fish in the bucket...

  • Please is this method ..... watch?v=Ah3zrGRmx80 works too using 2 big inserts per storage tub ? also is this ...... watch?v=m-SjP-QFXpw ....helps ?

  • @mothafuknjuicedawg o it really is that easy. the air bubbles from the air stone carry the oxygen the plants need to survive in water.

  • I'm trying this out for the first time. Today is day one in the DWC. MMAdvisor makes it look to easy not to do. THNAKS FOR THE INFO MAN

  • Use black buckets, otherwise your roots will get light on them and suffer!

  • @JessterJ not trying to be a knob, just might save you a few hundred on lighting bills

  • @MMAdvisor its not necessary to use a 600 watt light and ballast for each bucket. You can get the same result using fluorescent lights for both stages of growth. fluorescent technology has improved to the point that you can get bulbs with a 3400 K light temperature that will do the same amount of work as a high pressure sodium for a fraction of the cost. I've tested this with an unaffected yield.
