Odong mountain, Phnom Penh is a tourist attraction with many foodstalls at the foot of the mountain. When you climbed to the top of the mountain, a good 500 plus steps, you are treated to a nice panaromic view of Phnom Penh plus the beautiful stupas.

  • @Research0digo good way to keep kids begging. Shouldnt pose with them unless you are paying for a service. If a person came up to your child and "posed" with them what would your reaction be? "you better give my child a nickle..."?

  • Hi,

I am not saying anyone is doing anything wrong in this video.

But if I may share a thought or two about visiting dark people's countries:

I sure wish outsiders would do the small courtesy of asking locals, especially kids & older folk, if they mind their photo taken, before doing so. A penny or nickel if kids decide to pose with you wouldn't hurt either - but offering money anytime you do anything is usually not a smart 'trendsetting' idea.

    .....

  • ... point your camera at their face and snap away.

Maybe share something from your own home town - a neat tee shirt with a picture of something in your own area with them.

At the stalls - don't feel like eating, or don't care to munch on deep fried salty tarantulas?

Buy some food for several little kids hanging around.

    A tip:

If you see little ones with anything but very dark black hair - they are severely malnourished.

    Spend 75 cents.

    Feed them.
