Make a Wish. Video Sculpture Installation

A three channel Video/Sound and Sculpture Installation.

Make a Wish is inspired by how the unsettling social, political, ecological and economical context affects one's life in USA today. I question how Fear and Insecurity have become part of the fabric of our daily lives, and how this affects us in the most insidious ways. This is the context I explore by suggesting there is a thundestorm inside the gallery space.

There are three projection surfaces on the top of round (46" X 12") metal containers sitting on the gallery floor. While rain and thunder fill the gallery and animate the containers' surfaces, an apparition emerge in each of them.
These are three sequences: 1. Waves. 2. The Economist Soup. 3. Maison.
