Follows a point of view of a protagonist who's disillusioned by the recession and the inequality of opportunity given by the Government. The song outlines the various governmental hand-outs given to financial institutions, who have not paid back their loans. When the protagonist gets made redundant from his job, he has to work 4 low paid jobs to see ends meet. His home is in jeopardy and he gets thinking, is it just that financial institutions that were complicit in the recession ought to get rewarded. Second, that is it just that to pay off bonuses, the poor ought to pay for the mistake, and pay for someone to live better off than them, for their errors? The protagonist, does not believe so.

When the protagonist comes to a more radical way of thinking, he gets criticised for being a revolutionary. He looks into large company investment off shore, with a few percent being paid back into his homeland's country. He comes to the conclusion, if I'm paying for the armed forces, while others are not being patriotic, then the country ought to re-adjust it's view on 'patriotism'. This for him means, they ought to support the country, financially in it's wars and peace time crisis'.
