  • You guys are being very rude. The H in herbs is silent. I guess everyone says it different but yes it is supposed to sound like "erbs". Im an american, english is my native tongue.

  • @Emokid84 yes it releases more flavor if you tear it, when you eat it fresh but if you cook it than it doesn't matter.

    sorry not trying to be an ass, just pointing out that in england the h is pronounced. i know in american english its different though. it really is like two different languages :P

  • Damn, thats a stupid way to chop basil.. You should roll the leaves together and then start start cutting. You get much more equal sizes, and its easier to hold on to.
