Gotta love 3.1 liters i had a 98 lumina and now have a 93 corsica and i embarrass kids in hondas in both of them...my lumina would pull on 6 cylinder mustangs

My car hits the limiter at 110. But theses cars are just tanks after a LIM gasket and oil pump it still strong thinking of getting an intake and maybe a 75 shot
-
i used to have a 94 corsica and it wasnt shy of opening up on highways.
-
@Motorfordtoyota i used to have a tempo, i kept breaking down lol
-
I love corsicas!

this is one tired corsica.

I like what you say, I have a 1996 with the 3100 V6 and it hauls ass pretty good. and delivers 32 MPG :)

not the fastest, faster than tempo though, but Damn reliable old cars, unlike tempos!

I think your flasher relay might just be a tad bad there. lol. But those 3.1s are awesome old engines.

Hey I used to have a '91 Lumina too, much heavier. The RPM's definately didn't rip like that though! In fact, just revving it up in the parking lot in neutral would make the limiter kick in. I had a '91 Tempest after that, but I still think the Corsica would take it even though they're 'sister' cars @ 3.1 L.

yeah it does hit the RPMs really high the 3100 is a pretty powerfull engine

I used to drive a '92 Lumina with the same 3.1 and I can say now that it NEVER pulled that hard up high. I mean, the Corsica DOES weigh quite a bit less, but still.. Either way, nice run. Quick question though: What were the conditions like when you were doing this run and were you on flat, level ground?

well as far as weather wised it was around 60 sh and level yeah it was a flat straight road .. thnx for watching and for the comment.
