Africa shadows

This shadow puppet production was created as a stage backdrop for a song, dance and puppetry show created for the opening of the World Economic Forum in Switzerland this year (2010).

The shadow puppets were made up from cardboard and foam. This shadow element of the show was not performed live. It was filmed and then edited to soften the transitions between scenes and to create a soft warm African landscape.
