@IwanttoliveinParis I'm with you! I was totally freaked and was shaking by the time I finished the album when I heard it for the first time in 1982. But this album is fantastic. There's nothing like it. Very underrated.

@Snoman663 et al:
... and Peter Hammill. On this track (I may not have...) the male vocal is by Peter Hammill. Daryl Hall would need some serious violence done to his vocal cords and larynx to sound anything like this. Even their falsetto singing sounds totally different. Check out North Star on this same album - that's Daryl Hall.

Its Daryll Hall and Terre Roche on the album.

@MikeBatard Sorry fella that is the great Hammill crooning on this track. The female singer is Terre Roche. Very good and diverse album.

You are correct!. It's Daryll Hall on this.

@barry9949 Peter Hammill? I thought it was Daryll Hall vocal on this track? I no longer have the album to check my facts but Hall was deffo a contributer. LOve it still and have to find it again.

"If you know you have an unpleasant nature and dislike people, this is no obstacle to work."
Wouldn't it be a relief if the next time you applied for a job, the hiring person told you this upfront?
