  • can you race on your tracks even if you dont have the paid version?

  • No, you can only race in the paid version (SlotZ Racer), SlotZ Track Editor lets you test the track with 4 computer controlled cars only.

  • One thing that is a hassle in track edit is that I can't insert track pieces without deleting everything in front of it.

Also, I would love the option to give names to my own tracks :D.

  • You can change a track piece by using the (-) button to step backwards to it then just pick a different track piece (you can use that to set the bridge height too.

In the 1.1 version coming soon, you can also just tap on a track piece to jump to it and you can name tracks (as well as sending them to your friends by email or wifi :) )

  • hey i have an ipod touch 1 g and it said it is not compadible, whats wrong?

  • Make sure you have the current 2.2 iPod software update installed. SlotZ was written on an iPod Touch 1g so it's definitely compatible. Sometimes iTunes will 'glitch' with 1st gen iPods and apps, especially if the iPod is jailbroken.

  • Oh and 1.1 sounds awesome :D! It's great to know that there will be updates coming out.

  • I know you can change the track piece, but you can't insert a track piece. For example I have track that is a perfect circle. I want to make it longer. In order for me to do that, I'll have to delete half the circle until I reach a straight piece before I can start adding more pieces. Now think of that in a track that is far more complicated. I change a single piece and now half the track is facing a different direction.

  • This is the most fun I've had with my iPhone since I got it. I was able to pick it up and start playing immediately, but discovered increasing layers of complexity as I went along. Such great attention to detail, I'm flabbergasted that it was only a dollar.

Very helpful track video as well. Thanks for all your hard work!
