The point of the video is simply Giving an Idea Of how you can disguise Something of value to look like something that has no or little value . you dont have to use bolts , you dont have to use a bucket . Come up with something that works for you .Sure this idea is not fool proof , someone could see the bucket and Toss it through a window Exposing the Ammo
The Point of the idea of hiding something in Plain sight is to increase the chances that its not found, but yet still have the item readily available

  • Dude why are you mixing different calibers? Waiting for a kaboom to happen?

  • not smart since the bullet tips and the bolts can hit the primers of other cartridges and set them off. wouldn't take much.

  • @recordmanful if he was any smart...store diff calibers in little bags within the big bag, within the bolt bucket

  • WOW! This is a great idea. I just made a bucket and wrote "Dirty Anal Beads" on top of it and then I put some dirty anal beads on top of the ammo. I hope it works if anyone ever breaks into my home.

  • @flamedrag18 Ok, kiddo, you can jump up and down and clap your hands together that you won an internet argument because I will acknowledge that there appear to be rare instances where this has happened after doing some research. I never had a problem in my winchester, though, and it really is the first time I've ever heard about this type of failure.

It's humorous when someone makes a blanket statement that isn't correct and someone points it out in an amusing way, though. ;)

  • @gymkhanadog that's why they don't use pointed bullets in lever actions, they use round or flat nosed bullets. if they did use pointed bullets, you're risk them set each other off in the tubular magazine from either the recoil or the rack of the action. if you didn't know that much, you're not worth arguing with on this issue.

as for my lack of humor, I don't think it's humorous when your berating someone else's genuine facts with non-sense like you did there.

  • @flamedrag18 At least I have a sense of humor, which I used to demonstrate how illogical your example was and rare such an occurrence actually is.

It takes between 15 and 30lbs of force on a minuscule area to crush and fire a primer. Highly unlikely you'd get that in a drop.

If you've ever set off a bullet in a lever action rifle just by racking it, you were doing something very wrong. In fact, this is the first time I've ever heard anyone even claim that type of failure, no joke. First time.

  • @gymkhanadog you think my comment is dumb but you bring up sarah palin, black holes and cthulhu and you think you make any more sense? come on.

I was saying that you get searched, either by gun seizing police/military or robbers, if they throw that bucket around during the search, the tip of a bullet or a sharp edge on a bolt might hit one of the primers in that bucket and set it off. if the racking of a lever action is enough to set off a primer with a pointed bullet, this should be plenty.

  • @flamedrag18 *sigh* Bullets aren't going to go off if you drop them. It takes a lot of force to pop a primer. Is there a chance? Sure, but there's also a chance that a black hole will open up in Sarah Palin's forehead tomorrow and that we'll all be sucked in as the world ends and the under-God Cthulhu takes over.

  • @flamedrag18 *eyeroll* Is that really the best you can put together?

  • @foxvalley560400 no need for the lang
