What if, instead of going to Star City after the aborted kiss in Bride, Lois had accepted Perry White's offer to become a foreign correspondent in Africa? While she's off being a hot shot reporter, Clark and Lana go south (as they must), and Clark can't forgive himself for messing up so badly with Lois, having realized that she is the one... and always will be. One year later, she returns to Metropolis to accept her first Pulitzer...

awwwwwwww! That was an awesome AU! I think i have a love/hate relationship with Bride and I'm constantly wondering all kinds of 'what if' situations whenever i watch that episode! Anyway, this was a really cool possible outcome and i really loved all the manips that you've created.
