The American VA is better for its own reasons. Kratos is meant to sound feral and appear animal like according to the commentary in God of War 1.

Interesting. However I myself and I bet many many others prefer the original, but that is as it should be. Only in very rare situations is the dub, better than the original. Btw if these would get dubbed into Hungarian(which has a reputation of bad dubs) I'd kill myself
