SIFF September 2010

I just wanna say that I was really shy about entering the competition last time but with some encouragements from a friend here, I decided to try. I surprised myself and had a great time! It was a fun and memorable experience! So I really hope that all of you will give it a try too! :)

What kind of videos can you actually make for SIFF? I mean like a music video or a whole movie with several parts? Is that possible?

@Vampsessed The official movie release date is September 15th. If you show the movie before that date, it will be pushed into the 'Pre-Release' category. I recommend you wait for the main event. However, before the main event, you can make a trailer to show off a little bit of the video and you can put together a poster to promote the movie. The movie, the trailer and the poster will be put on a poll for public voting so it'll be a lot of fun! Visit the official SIFF site for more details.

@Vampsessed You can pretty much make anything you'd like. They have several categories but if something doesn't fall under any certain category, there is always the miscellaneous group. Music video would be fine. A movie with several parts is also good. Hope that helps. :)
