I stumble upon this video whilst looking for another one of his great songs "Caledonia" it makes me proud to be scottish when such a simple tune can pull at your heart strings and long to return to Scotland.

Lovely. I was watching a film about Estonian composer Arvo Part recently and he said someone told him a composer must love every note. The first thing that struck me about this version of Fear a Bhata is the great love with which the fiddle player plays the muisc. It is as if she cherishes and truly loves every note. Thank you.
