Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, born February 5, 1985 in Funchal in Madeira in Portugal, a Portuguese footballer. He plays for the Portuguese national team and the English storklubben Manchester United.
Ronaldo was the first club Andorinha, where he played between the ages of eight to ten. In 1995 he was bought by the larger team Nacional. After his success with both club and national team during the year 2007 he was nominated for European Footballer of the Year (guldbollen), where he came 2 nd with 277 points. The winner was Kaká at 444 points. When FIFA appointed the world's best footballers in 2007, Ronaldo was again one of the three players who became the nominee. It ended his three (Kaká also won this award).
The season 2007-2008 was Ronaldo 43 goals. 31 of them have come in the Premier League, nine in the Champions League and three in the FA Cup.
