@kladen100 1. Boston is an expensive place to live. 2. Even with sponsorship money, most fighters struggle with money, especially when they have families. 3. Even if you're making decent money from purses/sponsorships, a lot of it gets eaten up by licensing/medical fees, managers, trainers, etc. That's why guys spend so much time doing seminars, personal appearances, and so on.

mma is fucked up.these guys make no damn money.it bullshit that a well known fighter in the ufc gets paid pennies.in boxing tomatoe cans who are just stepping stones that no one knows get like 800 bucks and higher 2 fight in mma u have guys who are realtively known like some guys in bellator and they make 800 dollars thats bullshit.fighters only get like 3 fights a year even if u get 10 g's per fight u still struggling cuz ur not getting a fight every other month.
