I enjoyed on the episode´s that valve did´nt make Alyx to protect and to annoy you when she´s always at the line of fire and can´t cover and dies all the time, but to keep you company and cheer you up.

Sure she can shoot,but what i mean she´s not slowing you down or getting into the way or ruining the game experience, but to expand it and building an friend to lean into when everything else falls apart

I enjoyed every moment with alyx troughout the episodes
