A child facing surgery confronts more than surgery itself. Many questions race through their mind...questions like: "Will I wake up during surgery?" and "When will I be able to see my mom and dad?" This online tour will prepare you and your child for surgery.

This tour includes information about what to expect when your child is admitted for surgery. In addition to this tour, we strongly recommend that you bring your child to the hospital for the live tour as well. The live tour helps ease any anxiety your child may have, by allowing him/her to become familiar with the surroundings. Feel free to also bring along family members or others who might benefit from experiencing the tour.

  • If I ever get surgery, I want an awesome anesthesiologist, not a bulbous cow XD The dude in this video looks awesome XD

  • You don't look forward to staying at the damn Hospital. The induction room sounds like you are getting ready to go to the army. I would much rather stay at the St Regis New York not at a damn hospital. Hmmmmmm this kid is on some weird meds to say how he looks forward to staying at the hospital overnight.

  • Aw! That kid is such a cutie!

  • The anaesthesist look/is very likeable and sooo sweet!!

I'd like to give him a big hug.

I bet he is married and has 5 kids.

  • actually i think that teens and adults may be more afraid of surgery then children...

  • Your puke smelled like a green popsicle. Gross!

  • @lifesaver173 me too. when i had knee surgery.

Exept i broke my knee, went to the Mizicordia then to UofA Childrens hospital, then had iv put in, freaked out some more, then waited a while, then got x-rayed then went to my own room with a roommate that had gottena peice of glass stuck in her foot, then waited 29 hours till surgery, didnt eat for 48 hours, puked whil waiting in bed, then went for surgery.

  • My room had a cool TV. The nurse showed me how to work it.

  • aw this is an adorable video :)

  • Lol ending was funny. I liked staying at the hospital but i miss my house too. Thatss cutee :D
