reminds me of the July 4th trail ride they have in Mt. Eden, Ky every year.

The Cannon County Walking Horse Association has a couple of these each year -- on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. The ride leads to a campground on Short Mountain about 15 miles into the hills from Woodbury for a 3-4 day fun-fest of riding, camping, horse shows, music and just some real good times. As you can see from the video, there are a lot of Spotted Saddle Horses in the group which are popular in the area.
