@llewllynn I wasn't trying to sound snarky before, I'm sorry for it coming across that way... but really, a google search will bring you tons of info... it won't let me post a link in here for some reason... if you google search "child welfare/foster care statistics" the first link that comes up is a .gov page that will give you tons of info

@mjrougeux Yes! How very adept you are to understand that I am not very knowledgeable - what with my ASKING for information on the source material used for the video and all! I'm simply asking for the source for the information presented as the wording is unclear as to where the "500,000 in foster care" are located - The US? UK? Vanuatu? Is it a grand total sum of children in all foster care systems in countries unlisted? I'd like to know. Instead of calling me "uneducated" you could help.

by 500,000 in "foster care" do you mean the American foster care system? Strange to go from listing countries to a public system that could be anywhere. It would also be really great if you could post the source for your information.
It's a real shame so many couples (and singles) who can provide the love, care, and means to take in a child are denied for any of a ridiculous list of reasons these days.

AWESOME, inspiring, convicting! THANK YOU! My heart is here, as well, as God has steered me (and still turning my heart toward what breaks GOD'S heart) over the last few years. Now my entire new CD (music) is about orphans/adoption/foster kids. May we help that many MORE in these last days! Happy mom of NINE, including 2 by adoption, Becky Wright

where can i find the facts about how many orphans there are in each country?? I am doing a paper on adoption and have not been able to find a site-able site yet. Thanks! :) Great video BTW!!!

that's really amazing i wish i could adopt a baby here in my country adoption is not easy it's not allowed for those who have their biological children, it's only allowed for those who dont have babies!! and if you are single u can not adopt :(:(:( i know its stupid :(:( may god protect all the orphans around the world they r angels indeed
