Fort Pulaski sits among barrier islands off the coast of Savannah, GA and played a role in one of the most defining moments of the American Civil War. It fell in April 1862 to Union Major General David Hunter.
Although no one was killed in the siege, 13 Confederate soldiers died at Fort Pulaski at the hands of their Union caretakers. Today it's considered a haunted hot spot and visitors report feeling unusual cold spots and experiencing strange noises coming from within the walls of the fort.
I have been to Fort Pulaski. It's was late October 2006. Very interesting place.

@TheBlaznPhoenix Definitely interesting! I've investigated during both the day and evening and it certainly has a different feeling at night!
