@endystrike000 i bought the exhaust kit from the MINI dealership around here, and i went there today and asked them about it. They said it should be silenced considering it is a factory bought JCW exhaust kit, but they said it would have had to be tampered with to not be silenced so it is likely that it is silenced. i hope this helps, but if not i can try and look further for 100% confirmation on it. I'll ask them to look closer whenever i go back and pick up my mini from service this week.
