  • @mwowner12 @KosherMessiah There is no word for "declared" and certainly not used in Mark 7. What he said was "katharizō" which means:

"to make clean, cleanse: from physical stains and dirt

    1) utensils, food

    2) a leper, to cleanse by curing

    3) to remove by cleansing

At no point he said all food is now "not unclean", he said they are "not dirty"

He gave them a science lesson. The whole point being the eating with unwashed hands.

  • @mwowner12

Food is something you eat... for example, crap is not food, neither is your father, neither is is a slug, neither is your crap. Food is something that you eat, that is clean. This is why pork and seafood are not clean, and ... because they are not FOOD.

  • @mwowner12 No need to get angry, my intent is kind. The entire context of Mark 7 is over the Rabbinical ritual of hand washing (its not Torah). If it were about eating that which YHWH calls unclean The pharisees would have nailed Him. And they would have mentioned it. They don't. Unclean animals are never mentioned. He is attacking their Rabbinical rules, not Torah. Shalom aleichem chaver

  • @VigilantVETERAN THe Scriptures do not say "thuis He declared all foods clean" this is a much later addition, not found in any Greek manuscript. Shows up after the 1611 KJV. Messiah said that not one jot or tittle shall pass from torah as long as the heavens and the earth stands. You are correct... the scriptures say what they say. We must not ignore Messiah for the false teachings of Churchmen.

  • @nofalseprophet - If you follow the Messiah of Israel, you are no longer a Gentile. You have joined Israel - Messiah's bride. Ephesiahns 2:11 - Paul states that you were ONCE gentiles. Messiah only came for Israel. Matt 15:24

I would be glad to speak with you about this if you have questions.

  • @mwowner12 Please do a little research my brother. "Jesus declared all foods clean" isn't in a single Greek Manuscript. It's not even in the 1611 KJV. Messiah said He did not come to abolish Torah, and until the Heavens and the Earth pass, not one Yud or tittle shall pass from Torah. You have been dupped.

  • Scot is a really nice guy... got to hang out with him by the fire at Sukkot. Great time.

  • doe sthis diet you speak of apply to gentiles as well? i'm a christian gentile and was just wondering.

  • dirty beard...I use only the finest shampoo...

  • that is not biblical. The law of Yahweh is eternal and so is his kosher diet.
