For my purposes, it was definitely worth it. The pictures aren't as good as a DSLR, but that's what you get with a point and shoot. The spec claims 720p, but there are artefacts at that rate. Also, the slo-mo needs lots of light (of course, that's the case with any high-speed)

the video itself is 7x slow-mo and i sped up the in between parts 8x.
