A talented duo who released this impressive track independently in 1993. One of my favorite seductive R&B slow-jams and videos from the early 90's -- in the vein of Intro, R. Kelly and Public Announcement, Guesss, Game, and other quality new-jack-soul groups from that time period. The guy who's doing most of the leads is named Jujuan Williams (he has a page at cdbaby); but I can't recall the other guy's name. Jujuan wrote the song, and it was produced by Debrice King, Lamar Mitchell, and Pearl's Boy. The guys did an appearance or two; but the full album never surfaced to my knowledge.

  • OMG, I just ordered this single cd off ebay, becuase noboby have this cd. some ppl never even heard of them. Thanks for posting this video.

  • @maymay028 You're welcome. I like the cover of the single!

  • holy crap!!!!! 2 chicago boys, jujuan and feloney from public announcement...love the 90's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So they were in Public Announcement? Well that explains why Jujuan looked familiar to me even at the time! Thanks for that info. Small world of music...Koncrete Level was signed to a label called Pocketown, which also had Nuttin' Nyce, a group for which the company collaborated with Jive -- Kelly's label.

  • Actually, I just spoke with Jujuan today and he informed me that he was not in Public Announcement. But there was another guy with a similar name and similar looks that was! However, Feloney was in the group!

  • Another group just as good and their album was pressed and released was a group called "Yours Truly." It was released by Motown...Check them out

  • A little late to know buuut I did see these guys on BET as was posted earlier. I recorded the show and I have it on VHS...My question is besides this song did they ever put together a CD that was released? If so how can I if possible get the CD? Can anyone provide me with more information please

  • I remember these guys did a live showcase on BET back in the day. It was actually really good. They had some dope songs too. Wish I had that BET video and their album.

  • i remember when vests was in style

  • This is so hot! @_@

  • I never knew this was an independent release. That explains why I could never find any release info for it. I used to check at the record store every month for a year.

  • @jamisonanthony I waited three years for Mista to release an album only to find out I was in college with Bobby "Valentino" and they were not getting back together.
