It is ripping you off! It is propaganda! You need NUCLEAR!
-
You overlook the fact of how much better wind makes us feel. Please don't harsh our buzz!
-
Wind does not help us at all, though. It just puts power plants on standby (still burning the fuel they use but not put the power in the grid). It takes 2-3 days for a coal-fire generator to come back online to full capacity. Please read "Energy Alternatives (Opposing Viewpoints)". It is a great book.

Thank you for your comments. I didn't write the script, but I'm in the "all of the above column." Wind is viable in the Northwest. Although variable, it is most active when water flow through our dams is lowest, and the new wind turbines create 4 times the power of the ones I saw just five years ago.
I agree, nuclear should be a major part of our strategy... even the French have that figured out. We need to make rational decisions, not emotional reactions.

Drill more is NOT the answer. Our oil supplies are about to exceed storage. It will take up to 10 years before we get a drop from the wells, and it is just going to destroy local ecosystems and cause more pollution. We need to invest into more fuel efficient things, like the Prius. We need to invest in nuclear.

Clean coal is just and expensive, mercury free, version of coal. Wind and solar are very expensive and don't work on our grid. Any source of power that fluctuates on our grid will not work. Nuclear is the only clean source of power that we have the technology to use and is economically feasible.
So, you DO believe that people are that stupid, huh? You guys have at most three percent of the world's oil resources, but you seem to think that offshore drilling will change that somehow. Do you seriously believe that? We both know that you're the ones full of hot air, here. Besides which, it always makes me howl how you oil company shills always throw in the renewables argument AFTER the fact. Drill, drill, drill. Unless confronted.

I'VE TOURED SIX WIND FARMS IN THE US and have done video work promoting them. What about you?
The people who funded this commercial are regular folks who want to see our country do better, not in the oil business.
Speaking of which, EVIL Chevron corp has discovered deposits in the Gulf of Mexico which could boost American reserves by 50%!
How about Bakken reserve? N Dakota has large huge potential, up to 400 billion barrels. But liberal girly-men say no! Drop the demo talking points.

And? You've also done work for a Christian ministry. Does that then make you a biblical scholar? You were PAID. Bit of a difference, don't you think? Unless you do these videos out of the goodness of your heart. Do you?

Typical liberal muddled thinking. I happen to like being paid for work, don't you? Or is money evil? Good luck paying for food and shelter. I've done lots of projects pro-bono.
Why do liberals flee from facts and reason and question peoples' motives?

I dunno. Guess it's the same reasoning you use when confronted about whom you work for. It brings a tear to my eye to know that you've done plenty of work pro bono. I guess that means you get Karma credits that you can use against the outright lies that you are spreading. Before Barack Obama became a senator gas was at.......puleeez.

Pro bono work is some of the most satisfying there is. You should try it, but then you might compromise your liberal, government dependency, victim mentality status.
Yes, Barack Obama and the Dem congress have NOTHING to do with oil prices. It's 100% Bush-Cheney's fault, as well as global warming, male-pattern baldness and Saturn losing it's rings.
Learn some economics: to lower prices you lower demand and increase supply. The two have to go together. That's Econ 101 dude.
