Mesmo assim o jovem se arrisca a enfrentar essa jornada, na qual ele irá se deparar com difíceis desafios. O maior de todos, no entanto, é descobrir quem é, de fato, inimigo ou aliado. Produção zen budista que conta com David Carradine no auge de sua forma como mestre de artes marciais. O filme é conhecido também pelo título "O Silêncio da Flauta" (Silent Flute).

Circle of Iron is a 1978 martial arts film which tells the story of a young[citation needed] martial artist named Cord (Jeff Cooper), who embarks on a quest for the Book of Enlightenment which is kept by the mysterious Zetan. The film is also known as The Silent Flute which was the original title of the story conceived by Bruce Lee, James Coburn, and Stirling Silliphant in 1969. Bruce Lee intended to star in the movie himself. After Lee's death, Silliphant and Stanley Mann completed the screenplay.
